"Much needed and fantastic holiday"

Fantastic family holiday spent at this relaxing and accommodating villa. We spent 2 weeks in the villa with my in-laws and other family after their visit to Australia.

It is a great place to unwind knowing that everything you need is easily available. The staff are extremely friendly and happy to help out with anything you could want, from recommending restaurants in the local area to organizing taxis and drivers for day trips, they will even give you tips for your day out.

Canngu itself is a great area to stay, lots of nice cafes and bars, and beaches on your doorstep, while being only a short trip from Seminyak and Kuta, without the hustle and bustle.

If you want a quite day around the villa there are ample facilities with three independent double rooms with en suites, the pool is magical after a long day out in the heat, and perfect to laze next to while you wait for the masseuse to arrive.

I would highly recommend this villa, and will definitely go back!

Yet another wonderful holiday spent at this splendid villa. Staff are the same happy helpful friendly and having been there a long time they treat you like family.
We stayed at the villa two weeks, and we made every day count. The staff arranged taxis and hire cars with driver for the day.. Sight seeing made so easy with their island knowledge we saw beautiful exotic scenery, temples, markets, beaches and shops.. Returning back to the comfort of the villa..
The Chef (when pre booked ) is superb with excellent native cooking..
The Villa still retains excellent facilities and the upkeep is very credible to the owners.

"Spectacular Villa"

My Husband myself and 9 year old twins have just returned from a wonderful five night stay and are so sorry to leave. Everything was great from booking and dealing with the owner, getting picked up at the airport the Lovely welcome we received from the Girls. The villa far exceeded our expectations. Bali is our second home we spend a lot of time there and have stayed in many different Villas but this beats them all. Well done and thanks so much

"Wonderful villa"

This is a fantastic villa, peaceful and tranquil in a beautiful setting, with helpful and friendly staff. The swimming pool is beautiful and the upstairs dinning area was lots of fun, along with the pool table. I really like the area as well, enjoying nights out at Deus and sunset at old man’s, with great cafes nearby for breakfast and lunch. The villa is close enough to the beach to enjoy dinner at the beach house, and of course great surfing nearby at Echo beach. This is definitely the cool area to be, compared to the built up tourist areas you still see the typical Bali landscape which I love so much. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Puri Temple for anyone, comfortable, great for entertaining, easy for everything, and spacious and with a great option of having your own driver.

"Excellent villa"

We stayed two weeks at Puri Temple and found it perfect for a family of five – all adults. The situation is brilliant with beaches, places to eat, and shops all within a ten to fifteen minute walk. However once you were inside the gates the villa was private and quiet. I would confirm what others have written – what makes the villa so good is the staff. Nothing is too much bother for them and when my husband and I got “Bali Belly” the girls got us coconut water and made sure we were ok. They are also brilliant cooks and as well as a choice every breakfast they cooked dinner for us and bought in the food for a BBQ. It is also reassuring to have night security as well. We also went on 4 day trips organised through the villa and the driver was excellent.

We came to have a holiday with my son, who is a dive instructor on Bali, and he thought the villa was excellent and that I couldn’t have chosen a better one in a better situation.

From the first greeting from our driver Nyoman at the airport and meeting the staff -Ayu, Putu and Wati at Puri Temple, we felt well looked after. Great amenities and a short walk to nearby restaurants.

"Just magnificent"

This was our second stay at the Puri Temple Villa, it was amazing, the house is just beautiful. The staff are amazing, we were so spoilt by Wattie’s lovely cooking, Ayu and Putu are fantastic and can’t do enough for you. The girls planned our day trips, our massages etc. we can’t wait to go back for our 3rd visit, love it!

"How Bali Should be Experienced"

I was in great need of a short break from work so decided it was time to go back to Puri Temple. It has all the pleasures of Bali without any of the hassles. Traffic is so light you can walk or cycle to the beach without having to dodge any traffic. Just great views of padi fields, village life, the coast line and dotted within the local landscape an increasingly diverse range of eating places. It is three years since I wrote my earlier review so there have been some new developments in Canggu but all positive contributions catering to the needs of tourists – especially their need to eat! Was spoilt for choice where to stroll to for lunch – most also deliver food to the villa too if you want.

Puri-temple remains a great peaceful hide-way, with exceptionally friendly, helpful staff who can rustle up wonderful meals. Was like meeting up with old friends again – they make you feel so welcome. Unless especially arranged they go home at 6 but there is a night security guard so you have privacy and security. The villa is exceptionally well-maintained – it looks exactly like the photos on the website. Sitting on the Bale day or night is a great way to unwind – as is swimming in the pool though my husband preferred the pool table. It is also easy to get a car to take you over to Seminyak (20/25 minutes away) or Tanah Lot (15 mins) but this time we decided to go further afield and explore the 3 lakes at Bedugal – the villa booked a driver for us for a very reasonable price and we had a great day out which also took in the renown rice fields at Jatiluwih (now a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Botanical Gardens and a local market in the hills. Ubud makes another good day out.

Puri Temple makes the ideal get away from city life for all age groups – my daughter in her twenties enjoys as much with her friends as my husband and I do with ours. It is also ideal for people with children – lots of space for activities and the owners have thought of all the guests needs. Good music systems, collection of DVDs, books, sports channel – and if you can’t escape completely from work the internet connection is fine!

We had yet another superb holiday at Puri Temple – Bali. Having been several times now we are still so excited when we return.

The accomodation is maintained to the highest standard, always so clean and fresh, with great aircon – all the comforts of home.

We are welcomed as if we are special which is lovely and well looked after nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
What we appreciate is the up to date local leaflets and extra information on take aways, taxis and car hire with or without driver.

We would highly reccomend Puri Temple to everyone
